Gosia was born in Krakow, Poland where has received a degree in Architecture and Urban Design from University of Technology in 1996. Her passion for urban design and sustainable city planning is well grounded in historic context of European towns and enriched with her experience as a practicing architect in the US in last 15 years. As a principal/owner of KUNG architecture her mission is to promote ‘sustainable solutions for the urban lifestyle’. Mark is of Chinese descent and emigrated from Korea to Tennessee with his family when he was 12 years old. While attending the University of Tennessee, Mark participated in the exchange program to Poland, where met a woman who was attending UT as an exchange student from Poland–Gosia eventually became his wife and business partner. Prior to establishing his own firm, Mark was vice president of a Finnish company that specializes in building Finnish log homes. Mark’s multi-cultural associations help him understand individual client’s needs and desires, and he develops unique working and personal relationships with all his clients. Mark‘s observational skills and attention to detail perfectly complement Gosia’s focus on design, and he is in charge of technology and the build process for Kung architecture.
